Lush review: Snow fairy shower gel♡

So today I am reviewing possibly the most popular Lush limited edition item of all time! Snow Fairy Shower Gel. Snow Fairy is perfection in a bottle. Gorgeous pink gel with blue iridescent sparkles (which unfortunately do not translate onto the skin). Its cotton candy. Its fruity. Its sweet shop pear drops. Its sweet. Its sugary. Its gorgeous. There is a reason this is number #1!

If I had to use one shower product for the rest of my life - Snow Fairy would be it. It holds a very special place in my heart. Last x-mas my Nan got me a little Lush gift set which contained Snow Fairy and the Lush obsession literally grew from there. Ever since then I became obsessed and Snow Fairy is the very reason I blog about Lush!

So you know this is going to be a rave review, but you probably wanna know why. Words cannot describe how lovely the scent is. Its very very girly, but that being sad even my guy best friend likes a bit of Snow Fairy and Rockstar soap (same scent as SF) is a bestseller with guys!

I feel like this years Snow Fairy is a much nicer formulation. It seems creamier, better for my dry skin and eczema  I'm not sure if that is just me or if they have changed the formulation slightly. It lathers wonderfully and the scent stays on skin for an average amount of time. Of course I would love the scent to linger for longer but that's just because I am so in love with it! The only thing that could be improved is the blue iridescent sparkles do sink to the bottom of the bottle, i'd quite like to see how they look on the skin mixed in with the lather!

I have got backs ups and back ups of Snow Fairy because I love it that much. Its worth taking the risk and buying it because its a guaranteed winner (and if you don't like it, send it to me! :D). Snow Fairy is available from Lush exclusively around the holiday season! Don't miss out! You can buy from here for £3.50 for 100g or £10.25 for 500g or from your local Lush store :)

Do you like Snow Fairy? Have you tried her? I'd love to know your thoughts in the comments!l

Lush review: Popcorn lip scrub♡

Hello everyone. Today I begin the very hard chore of reviewing all of my Lush products. Its gonna be a bit Lush heavy on the blog, but I'm going break it all up with some make up looks hopefully! I thought I would start with the smallest item in the range - the Popcorn Lip Scrub!

Lush are quite famous for their lip scrubs, which are deemed a necessity in the blogging world. I have to say a lip scrub makes all the difference especially when wearing lipsticks that show every little detail on your lips.
It's a gorgeous tasting popcorn scrub and believe me, its gorgeous! When I put it on my lips I am instantly transported into a cinema, eating my favourite popcorn watching an action flick. You get a wonderful assortment of flavours, salty but sweet, caramel but also chocolately. I love it!

Lush lip scrubs are easy to use, you dip a finger in and then rub over your lips. They are 100% safe to lick off too! And the ingredients are entirely natural! Your lips are left soft, exfoliated and ready for lipstick!

If your little pot of Lush Lip Scrub is running out, I'd definitely recommend this one to try next before its gone for good. In my experience lip scrubs last you ages and are well worth the money especially in the winter when lips can feel chapped and dry. The taste is just scrumptious and as always, it does exactly what its supposed to and leaves lips feeling and looking lovely!
Popcorn Lip Scrub is £5.25 and is available here. Popcorn not to your liking? They also do mint, chocolate ,bubblegum  and cola flavours :)

Mac Haul! + reviews ♡

1.  Mac Studio Fix Fluid
Studio Fix Fluid is definitely the most popular foundation by MAC and I have to say it really is worth all the hype. It gives medium-buildable coverage with a satin finish. The satin finish makes it a very versatile foundation for anyone with combination, normal through to oily skin. MAC are known for their extensive shade range and I love the shades available and NC15 suits me perfectly.
Longevity wise, I find this lasts me through the day and into the early evening, it will lose its coverage after a full day's wear but for even that I find it pretty long-lasting in comparison to others I've used. On the MAC site it claims to last up to 8 hours which I agree with. In comparison to Estee Lauder's Double Wear, it isn't as long-lasting and will not withstand heat and humidity as well. The finish isn't as matte nor as drying either which I prefer because DW can feel heavy.
Overall, a really beautiful foundation that I would recommend to everyone. It makes up for the addition of a couple not so good ingredients with the way this looks and wears in photography and real life.

2. Mac Pro Longwear Concealer
A lightweight fluid concealer that provides medium to full coverage with a comfortable, natural matte finish. Color-true formula lasts up to 15 hours. Helps conceal and correct the look of under-eye circles, and discolorations. Comes in a clear glass vial with a matte black pump.
The concealer is available in the following shades: NC 15, NC 20, NC 30, NC 35, NC 42, NC 45, NC 50 and NW 15, NW 20, NW 30, NW 35, NW 42, NW 45, NW 50.
The concealer is absolutely amazing. It blends flawlessly into the skin. Whether one has dark circles, discoloration, or wants to cover any other imperfection, this concealer is a must-have. The consistency is not too thick, and does not dry too quickly. It gives the user an opportunity to blend the product and to apply it for a flawless finish. There is a shade that is perfect for any skin tone, and that is perfect for any skin type. The product does not settle into fine lines, and will never look cakey or like concealer. It blends into the skin to look as though it is just one’s natural skin. It can be blended with a brush or with one’s fingers. A lighter shade can be used to highlight the skin if desired. This is one of the best concealers released by MAC, and it will truly stay applied to one’s face for numerous hours after application. The pump is very sanitary, and will allow the user to control the amount of product that is dispersed.

3. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle
This is my holy grail highlighter! It is a beautiful champagne color with hints of gold and pink shimmer which does not, in my opinion, transfer on the skin depending on how much you're applying. I sweep this on my cheekbones, bridge of my nose and cupid's bow which gives my skin a beautiful glowy, dewy appearance. This product, however, can certainly emphasize large pores if too much product is applied on the cheeks. To prevent this issue, I literally dip my brush in the highlighter twice, dust it off, and that gives me the perfect amount! I also use a very light hand when applying, you do not want to drag your brush across your cheekbones; slight sweeping movements is the best way to apply the highlight. A little bit goes a long way with this product :)

4. Mac Rebel Lipstick
I remember searching for this for so long as it was sold out at every counter I tried for aaaaaaages until I eventually found. It's the most gorgeous deep pinky/plum color and looks great with all skin tones. It's super versatile and can be worn with a smoky eye for a dark, vampy look or can be paired with minimal eye make up for a more wearable everyday face :)

It's a satin formula so it isn't drying at all and has a very subtle shine- though it's also heavily pigmented so a little goes a long way! It's definitely one of MACS staple lipsticks in my opinion and no collection is complete without one!

That's all for now, until next time! xoxo

The Body Shop Haul! + Reviews ♡

Hey lovelies!
1. The body shop all-in-one BB cream           10 BD
Yesterday I tested the body shop's all-in-one BB cream, and I must say that I'm impressed with this tiny tube! This BB cream comes in 3 different shades, I got the light #1, matched my skin tone perfectly. This beautiful BB cream gives you intense hydration! If you have super dry skin this will work great for you, giving you a beautiful healthy glow. And unlike other BB creams, it doesn't look too oily.
It's light to medium coverage so it does cover up tiny blemishes BUT if you have loads of imperfections, I suggest that you go for a foundation for a full coverage. It's not really as thick as many Asian creams that are in the market, it's more of a tinted moisturizer, that makes your skin look healthy. The good thing about this BB cream is that it has anti-ageing ingredients, which many other BB creams lack.
You'll be surprised when you first apply it thinking, OH MY IT'S TOO LIGHT FOR MY SKIN! Just wait for it, the special formula is transferable, it changes from that white creamy color to suit your skin tone!
Apply it to your skin then massage it into your skin and wait for it to release pigments with bursts of color. It adapts to your skin tone, which will amaze you! Lastly, keep in mind that this production doesn't contain any sun protection, so I suggest that you apply a moisturizer with SPF underneath. The only thing that would've made this product better is the product containing SPF & if the packaging is a bit bigger.
2. The body shop Super Volume mascara           3.5 BD
I think we all need a mascara that lengths and defines what we already have, sometimes we don't require the full drama but a product that enhances our natural lashes. The body shop isn't a brand that relies on funky packaging to sell a product, they keep it simple and let the product inside do the talking. This product is amazing! I love the bristle brush and it really makes my lashes volumized.

3. The body shop tea tree concealer       3BD
This is my first ever on-spot-concealer, I find it very helpful to add extra coverage to obtain that perfect look. This tiny little stick sure with boost up your confidence! Two shades are available, #1 & #2. Mine is #2 since #1 is way too light for me. If you're looking for a product that's going to conceal blemishes without over drying your skin with a handy portable stick that comes in two great shades to blend with all skin tones then this is the product that you've been searching for! I'm very pleased with this product. A concealer with acne treating properties, what could be better?

4. The body shop Tea Tree Blemish Gel          3BD
This is a pretty good product. It does irritate or redden your skin, leave any residue or look oily on your skin. When you apply it on acne it will give you a cooling effect which feels nice. It's good at reducing redness and swelling of acne, but it's not as strong and harsh. For how fast it treats acne, it really depends on how your skin reacts to the tree oil. For some people it is very effective, for others not so much. It's one of those applicators that looks like a lipgloss.

That's all for now!

August Favorites! ♡

Hello! I'm excited to show you my August favorites, since I don't really buy a lot of new products because I'm really content with what I already have but I've been doing a lot of shopping recently and I guess that's a good thing because I can show you some of the things that I'm already in love with! And surprisingly I bought most of them IN PERSON! That's an accomplishment for me.

The first thing is Soap & Glory's fab pore intensive-action pore-refining facial peelThe consistency of the face mask is really lovely and creamy, and of course like every Soap & Glory product it smells delicious. It has lots of little green beads in it that will dissolve as you rub the mask onto your face. The instructions say to leave it for five to fifteen minutes, but I left it for fifteen minutes and I must say that I was so impressed with the results, there was a massive difference in the visibility and the size of my pores! You definitely won't regret buying this amazing, little pot of joy! It's really great for acne because it dries out the pimples, but not your skin.

Moving on to Maybelline's Baby lips & the Eos lip balms!
Maybelline Baby lips ( from left to right )
- Cherry me
- Grape vine
- Peppermint
- Peach kiss
- Quenched
- Pink punch
Clinically proven to make lips 82% visibly less dry, 94% less rough, 77% more supple, and 77% better looking after just four weeks of use! It's clinical care for baby soft lips.
They're super moisturizing and you can wear them under you lipstick!
Eos lip balms
Pink: Strawberry sorbet
Red: Summer fruit
Yellow: Lemon drop
Green: Honeysuckle honeydew
I've tried both, the baby lips have a lovely color that would last with a lovely scent. It ONLY goes on smoothly if you've already had something like Carmex on. Otherwise it just sits on top of your peels from your chapped lips. It doesn't help at all. But the Eos lip balms would actually last more, and they just smell amazing!

Amazing alluring shades developed by Kate for RIMMEL Exclusive signature pack. Smooth on pure London class with the Iconic Lasting Finish Kate lipstick. A true chic treat. The first shade that I purchased was Shade 110 and I'm absolutely in love with it!

Another Soap & Glory item! I just can't help it, I NEED to buy a Soap & Glory item every time I go to Boots. It's a must. It contains Shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow . Scented with Soap & Glory's Original Pink fragrance. It smells Divine and transforms dry hands into smooth hands. And also is a non-greasy product.

And could I forget these amazing nail paints? Quick drying , hard wearing formula in a number of metallic, shimmer, matt and glitter color shades! Barry M nail paints are one of my favourite nail polishes, they have such a variety of colors, dry really quick and don't chip easily either!

That's all for now!
hope you enjoyed reading my first post! Leave down a comment bellow telling me what are YOUR August favourites.
Until next time!
