Mac Haul! + reviews ♡

1.  Mac Studio Fix Fluid
Studio Fix Fluid is definitely the most popular foundation by MAC and I have to say it really is worth all the hype. It gives medium-buildable coverage with a satin finish. The satin finish makes it a very versatile foundation for anyone with combination, normal through to oily skin. MAC are known for their extensive shade range and I love the shades available and NC15 suits me perfectly.
Longevity wise, I find this lasts me through the day and into the early evening, it will lose its coverage after a full day's wear but for even that I find it pretty long-lasting in comparison to others I've used. On the MAC site it claims to last up to 8 hours which I agree with. In comparison to Estee Lauder's Double Wear, it isn't as long-lasting and will not withstand heat and humidity as well. The finish isn't as matte nor as drying either which I prefer because DW can feel heavy.
Overall, a really beautiful foundation that I would recommend to everyone. It makes up for the addition of a couple not so good ingredients with the way this looks and wears in photography and real life.

2. Mac Pro Longwear Concealer
A lightweight fluid concealer that provides medium to full coverage with a comfortable, natural matte finish. Color-true formula lasts up to 15 hours. Helps conceal and correct the look of under-eye circles, and discolorations. Comes in a clear glass vial with a matte black pump.
The concealer is available in the following shades: NC 15, NC 20, NC 30, NC 35, NC 42, NC 45, NC 50 and NW 15, NW 20, NW 30, NW 35, NW 42, NW 45, NW 50.
The concealer is absolutely amazing. It blends flawlessly into the skin. Whether one has dark circles, discoloration, or wants to cover any other imperfection, this concealer is a must-have. The consistency is not too thick, and does not dry too quickly. It gives the user an opportunity to blend the product and to apply it for a flawless finish. There is a shade that is perfect for any skin tone, and that is perfect for any skin type. The product does not settle into fine lines, and will never look cakey or like concealer. It blends into the skin to look as though it is just one’s natural skin. It can be blended with a brush or with one’s fingers. A lighter shade can be used to highlight the skin if desired. This is one of the best concealers released by MAC, and it will truly stay applied to one’s face for numerous hours after application. The pump is very sanitary, and will allow the user to control the amount of product that is dispersed.

3. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle
This is my holy grail highlighter! It is a beautiful champagne color with hints of gold and pink shimmer which does not, in my opinion, transfer on the skin depending on how much you're applying. I sweep this on my cheekbones, bridge of my nose and cupid's bow which gives my skin a beautiful glowy, dewy appearance. This product, however, can certainly emphasize large pores if too much product is applied on the cheeks. To prevent this issue, I literally dip my brush in the highlighter twice, dust it off, and that gives me the perfect amount! I also use a very light hand when applying, you do not want to drag your brush across your cheekbones; slight sweeping movements is the best way to apply the highlight. A little bit goes a long way with this product :)

4. Mac Rebel Lipstick
I remember searching for this for so long as it was sold out at every counter I tried for aaaaaaages until I eventually found. It's the most gorgeous deep pinky/plum color and looks great with all skin tones. It's super versatile and can be worn with a smoky eye for a dark, vampy look or can be paired with minimal eye make up for a more wearable everyday face :)

It's a satin formula so it isn't drying at all and has a very subtle shine- though it's also heavily pigmented so a little goes a long way! It's definitely one of MACS staple lipsticks in my opinion and no collection is complete without one!

That's all for now, until next time! xoxo
